STS-102 Extravehicular
Activities
The STS-102 crew
conducted two space walks at the International Space Station. The
purpose of the space walks was to prepare the Leonardo Multi-Purpose
Logistics Module, or MPLM, for transfer to the station, to install
hardware needed for Assembly Flight 6A, and to deliver spare parts
to the International Space Station. Learn
more about the space walks required to build the International Space
Station.
