 | | Crew Activity Report for STS-97 Flight Day 7. This video provides information related to activities aboard the International Space Station as well activities on Space Shuttle Endeavour. The station crew awoke to discover a pump in the station's carbon dioxide removal system had failed as well as a high level of humidity due to a malfunction in the air conditioner. The systems were recovered by the end of the day. Commander Bill Shepherd relayed to the ground that he was ready to get to work in the Unity Node to connect power connections. The video also contains highlights of a conference held to add an additional step to the third space walk of the mission to add tension to the solar arrays on P6 solar array wing. The plan was developed by the solar array engineers in California with assistance from Astronaut David Wolf and was tested in the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory.
