Malenchenko, Expedition Seven mission commander, uses the crew escape slide in the crew compartment trainer (CCT) during emergency egress training. The CCT is one of several shuttle-training components located in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Malenchenko, who represents Rosaviakosmos, is wearing a training version of the shuttle launch and entry suit. |
