JSC2001-E-44735 (11 December 2001) --- Cosmonaut Nikolai M. Budarin (left) and astronaut Kenneth D. Bowersox, Expedition Six flight engineer and mission commander, respectively, use the virtual reality lab at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) to train for their duties on the International Space Station (ISS). This type of computer interface paired with virtual reality training hardware and software helps to prepare the entire team for dealing with station elements. Trainer Richard Gauvreau assisted Budarin, who represents Rosaviakosmos, and Bowersox.
