ISS012-E-22744 (23 Dec. 2005) --- Cosmonaut Valery I. Tokarev, Expedition 12 flight engineer representing Russia's Federal Space Agency, opens the Progress transfer hatch on the International Space Station. Progress 20 docked to the Pirs Docking Compartment at 1:46 p.m. (CST) on Dec. 23 as the station flew approximately 220 statute miles above the Atlantic off the east coast of South America. Progress delivered 2.8 tons of supplies, gifts, food, water, fuel and equipment to the crew members onboard the station.
