The European Matroshka-R Phantom experiment

ISS012-E-13729 (January 2006) --- The European Matroshka-R Phantom experiment was photographed by an Expedition 12 crewmember in the Zvezda Service Module of the International Space Station. Matroshka, the name for the traditional Russian set of nestling dolls, is an antroph-amorphous model of a human torso designed for radiation studies.
