STS-103 Shuttle Mission Imagery

S103-E-5020 (20 December 1999) --- Astronaut John M. Grunsfeld, mission specialist, looks out one of Discovery's aft flight deck windows on flight day 1. Within a day or so, Grunsfeld will be able to see the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) following its scheduled temporary capture by the STS-103 crew. The photo was taken with an electronic still camera (ESC) at 16:23:59 GMT, December 20, 1999.
